MENTAL FILMS exists to protect the vision. Based in Helsinki, we produce fiction and documentaries that dare to explore the human mind, society, and our relationship with nature.

We believe that great cinema shouldn't break the people who make it. Founded in 2025, we combine artistic ambition with a modern, sustainable production model. We provide the infrastructure for raw, psychological storytelling—ensuring that the "mental" aspect of filmmaking remains on the screen, not a burden on the crew.

Founded by Antris Bonsdorff, MA in Film and Television Producing (Aalto University). An industry veteran turned producer, Antris combines his fresh academic background with 15 years of technical field experience. With credits on over 40 productions, he uses his deep knowledge of camera workflows to protect the creative vision from the ground up.
